Journey number 1:
Today was my first adventure at Rabbit Run Park. It was very cold and the air was crisp. The sky was cloudy and there were some flurries in the air. In addition to the sky being dark, it also had hue of gray. The park looked as if it came out of a black and white book. Tree branches were growing all sorts of different directions taking different shapes. The wind blew so hard against the leaves on the grown, swaying them to the left. All you were able to hear were the leaves scraping against the concrete as the wind roared and drifted the leaves away. My trip today was very soothing and mind relaxing.
First Visit to Rabbit Run Park (Ryan Buxton)
During my first trip to Rabbit Run Park, it was cloudy with a few rays of sunlight shining through the clouds. The first thing I noticed was the trees coming up out of the water that was flooding the baseball feild. The wind gave the water a constant ripple which made me think it was amazing that something that can't be seen can have an effect on things that you can see. The leaves were all over the ground since it was winter and there wasn't much movement in the trees even with the moderate gusts of wind. I found what looked like a steam even though the flooding could've just made it look like one and the fallen trees had collected many leaves that were trying to flow through the stream. My visit was very peaceful and relaxing even with it being chilly out.
Rabbit Run Park (Dustin Stevens)
I made a visit to Rabbit Run Park this morning, and it was quite cold. In fact, snow flurries became rather abundant as I made my way through the park. I did not know what to expect, as I had never been there before. I must say it looks more like a marsh than a park. The first thing I noticed was flooding. There were quite a few dark and broken trees as well as yellow grass caked with mud. I even found a few trees that had been cut down. My guess is they fell onto the path and blocked it leaving reason to chop them. The park portrays a rather dark and eerie setting, yet it remains very peaceful.

First trip to rabbit run park- Ross Brannock
I went to rabbit run park on friday, it was very dismal and cold and rainy. Walking through the park was very eerie, but it was very relaxing, how still everything was, the only noises were the squacks of the occasional geese flying overhead. I stumbled upon a lake as i walked along the trail, it was very placid and still, just like everything else. I found the walk very enjoyable and relaxing.
