Rabbit Run Park (Dustin Stevens)
I made a visit to Rabbit Run Park this morning, and it was quite cold. In fact, snow flurries became rather abundant as I made my way through the park. I did not know what to expect, as I had never been there before. I must say it looks more like a marsh than a park. The first thing I noticed was flooding. There were quite a few dark and broken trees as well as yellow grass caked with mud. I even found a few trees that had been cut down. My guess is they fell onto the path and blocked it leaving reason to chop them. The park portrays a rather dark and eerie setting, yet it remains very peaceful.

Ryan Buxton: I really like that you took pictures, I actually thought of doing that myself but you beat me to it. I also like that you described the tone of the surroundings and that you decided to guess how the trees fell and ended up where they were.
ReplyDeleteThis park looks very mysterious and I think you did a good job capturing that in your pictures!
